Calcium

It can be found in leafy green vegetables, almonds, milk (preferably goat), cheese, yogurt, etc.

The deficiency in calcium causes pain in the back and legs, palpitations, muscle spasms and cramps, brittle bones, teeth rot, deformed spine, loss of height and insomnia.

It is essential for healthy bones and teeth.

It helps us to regulate blood clotting, heart rate, muscle contraction and transmission of nerve signals.

Factors that reduce the absorption of calcium are: the deficiency in magnesium, vitamin D, the decreased hydrochloric acid in our stomach, stress and a sedentary lifestyle. On the other hand, vitamins A, D, C, F, iron and magnesium increase the absorption of calcium.
